We are a company pleased to travel to and advise on all aspects of yacht and boat repair and maintanance. We are particcularly skilled in the detection and repair of Osmosis.

We were instrumental in the introduction of the current Gel-coat peeling process which is now used in the treatment of this problem. We have hands on experience of all the modern treatments and can advise on the best procedure for your particular case. We can make regular inspections while a treatment is being applied to ensure the correct procedures are maintained.

Quay Consultants Ltd is a company dedicated to drawing on the wealth of experience in the marine trade to assist yachtsmen and boat owners in either the purchase,repair or maintenance of their craft. We have expertise going back to 1954 in the construction and repair of wooden vessel, having run and managed boatyards involved in these operations.

We have particular skills in glass reinforced plastic (GRP) and paint coatings. We are able to advise on repair of coatings or structural solutions to hull and deck damage or repair.

We are also able to advise on the best way to rectify any defects that become evident. If your vessel is damaged, we can inspect and recommend the procedure to carry out repairs and assist in the reporting of damage to your insurance company. We can work with the repair yard insuring that the work is carried out to the correct standard.
