Jeanneau is to release six new Prestige motor yachts to be unveiled at boat shows throughout 2007/08.
The models are the Prestige 42S, the Prestige 38S, the Prestige 50 Fly, the Prestige 42 Fly with 3 cabins, the Special Edition Prestige 36 Fly, and the Special Edition Prestige 30 S.
Conceived in collaboration with Garroni Designers and Michael Peters Yacht Design, the range is aimed principally at yacht owners who already possess a Prestige vessel but who are looking to upgrade.
First to be made available will be the Prestige 42S, which incorporates a Volvo IPS propulsion system with twin Volvo 370 HP engines, and is due to be released at the Southampton and Cannes boat shows in September.
News of the new range from Jeanneau comes as the firm recently celebrated 50 years in the business.
During the festivities, the doors of the firm's Boit Verts production workshops at the Les Herbiers site were opened to the public.
The day was also marked with an exhibition of the firm's historic boats to celebrate its heritage.
