Beautiful, very original and complete classic gentleman's yacht, part restored, needs finishing. See more photos at: http://s307.photobucket.com/albums/nn317/luckyrustler/
Built in 1932 by Everson's of Woodbridge, Pitch Pine and teak on Canadian Rock Elm. A lot of work has been done including refastening the transom hood ends with Silicon Bronze screws, new grown oak horn timber and part of hog replaced in 2004. Stern tube and S/S shaft/prop fitted in 2005, awaiting installation of an 8hp Kingfisher marine diesel. The Iron ballast was removed in 2006 to enable removal of the four keel bolts. All fittings removed, repaired and re-galvanised in 2003. Complete with usable sails, spars, and most of the original gear, including Davey’s stove gimbals, oil lamp etc. Plus a lot of equipment, fastenings, timber (incl. Seasoned grown oak) to finish. Her hull and deck are totally sound, primarily needing 3 floors internally, some repair to timbers, repair to apron, new stem, replacement of keel bolts and fitting out. She is in unusually original and complete condition, and is being sold due to a lack of time to complete, a lack of space and the purchase of another boat. Located on Welsh Border (Monmouth. Purchase or loan of trailer is possible, or delivery by arrangement (can be towed behind Land Rover etc.)
