The ICOM M31 with Li-ion battery is our entry level marine VHF and offers ICOM quality at an affordable price. The compact NEW IC-M31 is designed for reliable, simple and safe operation. Featuring a one-piece, die-cast aluminium chassis and an ultra-durable polycarbonate case the IC-M31 has a long-lasting, rechargeable Li-ion battery that fits inside the radio case and locks firmly into place, offering a waterproof seal, which works to a 1m depth for 30 minutes. Despite its competitive price, the IC-M31 still carries many of the features of the higher spec units. These include one-touch channel selection TAG scanning; one-touch channel 16 selection; normal/priority scan selections; and dual/tri watch. There’s even a self-check diagnostic feature. The clear LCD on the IC-M31 is one of the biggest on the market, and with the backlighting turned on, channel numbers and other display indications (like the 4-level remaining power indicator) are easy to see, day or night. The generously-sized keypad is also backlit, and settings may be locked by the radio user to prevent accidental channel changing.
